Structures: Concept, Design and Analysis
The simplest perception of a structure is its ability to transmit or support loads. Structural Analysis could be defined as the determination of the effects of loads over a structure and its components. Models of different complexities are used to determine these effects. The basic objective in Structural Design is to produce a structure capable of resisting applied loads without failure during its intended life. Lina Bo Bardi. Political activist, furniture designer, architect, set designer, exhibition designer. Each design informs the next. Each design provokes thought. Her paintings were first exhibited at the Gatehouse Gallery in Washington DC and since in multiple art shows
